Broward Rising Youth Basketball develops scholar-athletes of character, discipline, and academic achievement through affordable competitive basketball and structured educational support.
To develop student-athletes of character, discipline, and academic achievement through affordable competitive basketball and structured educational support.
Our players don't need to be the most athletically gifted — they need to be ready and willing to work hard on and off the court. We are not a travel team. We are a youth development organization.
Affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) · Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, FL
Every athlete in Broward Rising participates in all three pillars. Game participation is tied directly to academic accountability.
AAU-affiliated competitive play with 2 practices per week, 1–2 tournaments per month. Skill development, conditioning, team strategy, and game-day coaching for players ages 12–14.
Minimum 3.2 GPA required. Biweekly Study Hall sessions, quarterly report card reviews, academic mentorship, goal-setting, and a Scholar-Athlete of the Quarter award program. Scholar first. Athlete second.
Players complete community service hours each season. Leadership workshops, time management, high school prep, and mentorship build complete young men ready for life beyond the court.
Whether you're a parent looking to enroll your son, a coach, a sponsor, or a community partner — we'd love to connect. Complete the form and our team will follow up within 48 hours.
Thank you for connecting with Broward Rising Youth Basketball. A member of our team will be in touch within 1–2 business days. Excellence in Scholarship. Dominance on the Court.
